Saturday, October 26, 2024 marked the launch of the 2025 Calendar, a tribute to the Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac. To celebrate, Rukin created a graffiti art on two street posts outside the Acervo Bookstore, at 723 Arthur de Azevendo Street, Pinheiros.
The artwork features a snake alongside a bookshelf, and incorporates the poignant phrase "You open your arms to me, and together we can build a country" by Antônio Cícero, written for Marina Lima´s song.
In a continuation of his exploration of urban art, Rukin graces the wall of his neighbors, Emerson and Pedro, with his artistry. The beachy feel of their home sparks a creative vision, resulting in a piece that celebrates summer and the natural world, brought to life through a spectrum of warm, joyful colors. The Dragon, a constant presence in his work throughout 2024, adorns the protagonist's shirt, both in image and in Japanese calligraphy.
