In 2011, Rukin decided to invest in building his artistic career and began to produce and dedicate himself to artistic practices. In the same year, he participated with two works in the international abstract art contest, Artist Portfolio Magazine, edition No. 8, and won an honorable mention, selected by the jury, with the work Builder.
